A Particular Theme or purpose to your blog…

So, in my daily browsing of the internet I read that some people feel that there should be a particular theme or purpose to your blog, and as someone who has no theme or purpose to her blog… I question this…

I question it for many reasons, first… maybe I do have a purpose to my blog… telling people whatever Jamie wants to say at that time… making my blog an account of my own life… that seems purpose enough for me… but then I think that is kind of a mundane, silly purpose, so I am guessing that my blog doesn’t have a purpose… okay then, that means I am back to realizing that some people wish I did have a purpose, because if it doesn’t have a purpose, then that begs the question, why blog? Well, I blog because I love it. I blog when I want to, how I want to and about whatever I want to. I want to tell a story about how cute Halle is, then I blog it… I want to write a review on a product I love, I blog it… I want to vent about a company, then I have a place to do it, my new hobby? bam blog.

So I would say the purpose of my blog is making myself happy, having an account of my real life happenings and I LOVE going back and reading stuff… I don’t do it often, but when I do, I am definitely my own best audience haha! I know my dad reads occasionally (Hi, Dad!) but I don’t think my mom has ever taken the time to check it all out…

and so I say to those of us without a purpose to our blog (or more accurately a multi-purpose blog) BLOG on!
