I love when bloggers leave an open ended blogging day so I can ask them anything I want, so I thought it might be fun to give it a try.

Leave your questions in the comments below. I’ll answer them as best I can in some form or another. I can’t wait to hear what you want to know!

  2. Hi! I haven’t been on for a bit. My first grandson was born this week!! He is so adorable…and he is taking up all my time. 🙂

So…I don’t have a question, but I realized I never answered the question you asked me, so we are flipping roles. 🙂

You asked me about my comment that my kids are homeschooled/unschooled. I’m assuming you want to know what “unschooling” is. It’s basically child-led learning. We don’t really do lessons, the kids just pursue what they are interested in. We read together a lot, my son is writing a book so we talk about that and I help him with it. We just basically try to give the kids an enriching environment and expose them to a lot of different ideas, books, movies, museums etc…I could go on about this all day, but that is it in a nutshell. 🙂

On another, totally different note, I wanted to tell you that we are having our first contest at my website. You can win a $20.00 gift certificate to the bookstore. 🙂 I know some people announce contests on blogs, if you do that, could you mention ours? I’d really appreciate it!

We also just got up our interview with Lisa McMann, if you like her. It’s a really great interview with some writing tips and advice on building a platform. Stop by and check it out…:) Sorry for leaving such a crazy-long comment!
