It seems like all the best things happen in high school. First loves, driving, and (my favorite) graduation. To celebrate the most awesome of ‘releases into the wild’ for my son (though he’s a little far from graduation yet!), I’m Customizing a Class Ring with Jostens!
I wish this had been around when I was in high school. I just went on the web to check out the ShadowCast rings by Jostens and wham! I was customizing a ring! Now, I want to let my son customize his own ring, sure, but I also wanted to give him an idea or two…So I went ahead with the process and made my own ring!
There were so many unique and very trendy options, but I loved the smooth lines and artistic layout of the Jostens Aria Shadowcast Ring. so that’s where I started. I wasn’t too hot on the idea of diamonds, so I dropped those to cubic zarconia. Then, I added his initials on the side, the graduation year on the other side…I was banging-out a ring in no time!
Then, I added on the finishing touch of a finish and viola! My ShadowCast ring by Jostens was complete. And (this part was rather awesome, too), I was able to e-mail, Facebook and print the design so that I could show it to my son–and he could get comments from his friends or even design a new one with them!

Jamie, I love that custom made ring design you made. I also wish I was able to do something like this when I was in high school. I think when things are customized, it gives whatever item you’re making a whole lot more meaning.
