Dude, you haven’t updated your blog in a while…

Why am I instantly guilty when someone says this to me? It is hard to believe that we have come so far in technology that when you forget to update your online public diary people comment on it! I am not saying this is a bad thing… in fact… after I quit feeling guilty I am excited that someone actually reads my blog. 🙂 so yaaay! thanks for reading… and when I don’t update… make me lol

That brings me to another point though… the blog… isn’t it weird all the different things it can be used for? Like me… I mostly just randomly post things on mine that don’t really have anything to do with anything else… but some people are very specific… they post only their scrapbook layouts, or they update people on their famiy’s happenings… I am not sure which blogs I find more interesting. I mean… on the one hand I like the whole element of surprise thing where I never know what they are going to talk about, but on the other hand, I also like knowing that when I read the blah blah blog that they are going to be talking about blah blah every time. The blog is a weird weird tool. I actually blogged for a little while in college like six years ago… but then I got bored with it and I just stopped… which is kind of a disappointment… I wish I had kept going! How cool would it be to look back on the last six years of my life and read about it? I am not sure how long I have been blogging here, but I think it is a little over a year, and I gotta say… that is kinda cool to be able to look back on the past YEAR of my life even… I mean… I don’t always keep it up to date… some months I blog a lot, and some months I don’t even have one post… but I think that the time frame of the actual blog is more important than the consistency as long as I am updating at least every once in a while. Okay… I have dropped the Em off at school, and now I need to do some dishes…. ug. Raaaawr me smash dishes!
