Want to know how to be beautiful? Well, I used wet’n wild body color icon eyeshadow palettes and Studio 35 Travel Brushes from Walgreens to get these super cool mermaid nails! It was so easy and so much fun! This is one of my favorite makeup tips of all time. 🙂

How To Paint Your Nails With Eyeshadow:

I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Mint Sprint and painted a couple of coats on my nails.

step 1

I love this nail polish because it dries FAST. I mean like, in under a minute fast. For this project you want to have super dry nails. So I would give them about five minutes to get rock hard.

I found these little glitter eyeshadows at Walgreens for under a dollar. They were so cool that I knew I had to use them in my nail art!

step 2

Now take your little makeup brush and pat it in the eyeshadow. I used the Stuido 35 Travel makeup brushes because you get them free with a 20 dollar purchase until August 30! To get a coupon, go here for a FREE travel-size make-up brush set, their gift with any $20 beauty and personal care purchase (excluding baby category).

Just get plenty of the glitter on the end of your brush. It’s super easy to control how much you put on your nails with this method.

step 3

Pat the glitter down on your dry nail. Start at the base and work your way to the tip. You want more glitter at the base than at the tip.

step 6

Now repeat with the blue. (Side note: LOOK AT THIS AMAZING BLUE GLITTER. I WANT TO GLITTER EVERYTHING WITH IT!!!)

Finish off with a clear top coat and you will have the coolest mermaid nails around. I love this style because it works so good on short nails. I am totally over long nails right now, I don’t know why!

I can’t get over how cute these turned out. I love how easy it is to control your glitter and your brushes when you use a gel glitter like this one. It was the easiest nail art design I’ve ever done!

Thanks to #CollectiveBias for this amazing opportunity to work with #WalgreensBeauty!
