This 13-Year-Old Boy Takes Photos of Toy Cars That Look Incredibly Realistic and It Is Absolutely Mind-Blowing
If you’ve been here a while, then you may know that I’m a professional photographer and I mainly specialize in pet portraits.
Some people have a hard time with pets, but that is what I love to do the most so it’s easy for me and I have years of experience.
Today I come across a 13-year-old boy that is killing it in the photography skills department because of his grasp on perspective.
Anthony Schmidt is seriously just 13-years-old, he is on the autism spectrum and has an amazing skill for photographing toy cars.
The thing is, he makes these miniature toy cars look life-size in his images.
To make his art he uses a combination of toys and real-life structures combined in a way that visually tricks you.
This isn’t an easy skill to develop because it requires real talent to blend the two in a way that makes you think it is a real scene.
Oh, let’s not forget that this kid is using a cell phone to take these amazing images!
Anthony has been collecting model cars and photographing since he was just 6 years old and his mother set up his Instagram account to showcase his skills when he was only 9 years old.
His miniature car collection spans from the classics through the newer versions of vehicles and he has well over 600 of them!
He takes a photo every day, at least one. We make that part of our day.
Anthony’s mother said
Apparently, this hobby has helped him overcome some of his personal challenges with Autism and I think that is fantastic!
I have my own issues and some of them are very relatable to Autism and finding things to dive into and completely focus on is so helpful.
I think he is absolutely brilliant and can not wait to see where his skills take him!
So impressive!
