In fact, there has been one death reported so far and that is heartbreaking!

The products included in the recall are the MamaRoo and RockaRoo infant swings and rockers.

This applies to versions 1.0 through4.0 of the MamaRoo Baby Swing and RockaRoo Baby Rockers.

There is a repair to fix the hazard though!

What has happened is when the swing or rocker is not in use the restraint straps dangle below the seat and infants that crawl can get entangled in the straps which could lead to strangulation.

Something so simple, that many of us wouldn’t even consider!

The company is asking those that have infants that are mobile to stop using the products immediately and to register your product so that you can receive a free strap fastener.

This will prevent the straps from hanging under the swing when not in use.

The affected model numbers are:

  • MamaRoo Models: 4M-005, 1026, 1037
  • RockaRoo Model: 4M-012
