  3. Thanks so much for sharing these slow cooker recipes with us at Merry Monday. Anything to make life easier.

  4. What a GREAT list of crockpot recipes!! I am always on the lookout for new recipes and these would work great for not only Christmas morning but any morning around here. We make crock pot meals by the month and freeze them. I will be referring back to this post frequently, thanks for sharing the amazing list!!

  5. love the breakdown! Found so many recipes I want to try – good thing you could cook these year round! thanks for sharing!

  6. I love the recipe list and no doubt will be putting some of them to use. But I had to laugh….I am the grandparent who always visits for the holidays. But, it has always been me in the kitchen on Christmas morning, preparing the breakfast that was at our house when my kids were small (cinnamon rolls, etc) and the one my daughter-in-law grew up with (tourtière). I love doing it and the grand kids will join me for a wee bit off and on. Later we will go to the other grandparents for a delicious, traditional Christmas dinner. The ‘other’ adults (ie the parents) do a lot of the prep for a drop-in Christmas Eve….after my husband and I finish the housecleaning! It takes a village, after all. I am sure most grandparents would love to help out, if they are made to feel comfortable doing it. No ‘entertaining’ required.

  7. Thanks for including my Overnight Apple Oatmeal! This is such a great collection-I’m pinning it to several boards 🙂

    Thank you.
