An All-Electric DeLorean Is Coming and It’s The Car of The Future
Calling all Back to The Future fans!!

You may remember the car everyone wanted in the 80’s was the DeLorean – after all, it was the car of the future.

While the DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt back in 1982, they are back with a vengeance and are bringing us the car we’ve waited for our entire life… The DeLorean.

The DeLorean Motor Company has officially revealed its upcoming DeLorean EV which is an all-new take on the “Medusa” sedan concept that the original DeLorean Motor Company had back when the Back to Future trilogy was popular.

How much will The DeLorean Car Cost?
While the official price has yet to be released, pricing is expected to be in the $175,000 range.

When will The DeLorean car be released?
As of right now, the company has just revealed the plans. The car’s production is expected to begin at DMC’s new San Antonio, TX facility in the next couple of years.

What we know so far about The DeLorean
As of right now, we know the DeLorean EV is targeting a 100kWh battery pack that should provide north of 300 miles of range and power a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup.

Instead of being a 2-seater, it will seat 4.
According to concept photos, it will have winged doors (scissor doors).

It will accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.99 seconds, and 0-88mph in 4.35 seconds. The top speed is projected to be 155mph.

Sorry, no time machine will be included but it would still be cool to drive one of these nonetheless.
