Thanks to TikTok, Applebee's is Bringing Back Its Oreo Shake

If you’re on TikTok then you’ve most likely seen the videos with the “Fancy Like” song… even my service dog did a TikTok with the viral song.

If you’ve never heard it, the lyrics go like this:

We fancy like Applebee’s on a date night, got that Bourbon Street steak with the Oreo shake. Get some whipped cream on the top too, two straws, one check, girl, I got you… – Walker Hayes

It is a song that definitely gets stuck in your head and I find myself humming or singing it pretty often, by the way… I have an awful singing voice. When I sing it’s more like appebee than applebee’s.

I even saw that Applebee’s had joined in on the TikTok trend and now they are totally bringing back the Oreo shake!

Apparently, the song brought back interest in the drink after it had been pulled from the menu due to reducing menu options during the pandemic.

We do have people singing it and dancing to it in our restaurants. We love being part of the conversation.
