Armpit Hair Is The Furry Trend That’s Back With A Vengeance Whether You’re Ready Or Not
I’m sorry to all you haters of body hair. The most taboo of all the body hair is back — whether you’re ready for it or not.
Armpit hair.
Furry pits have kind of come in and out of fashion since the 1960s. But now, the razor-less trend is back with a vengeance.
I’m going to be honest, maybe I’m just old-school, but I don’t think I can embrace the hairy trend. Like, I keep a razor in my purse for emergencies. LOL!
To be honest, it gives me a bit of pause when I see furry pits in a dress. But, I need to just get used to it.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this natural trend. We are simply conditioned to think that certain people should shave, and it’s okay for others to toss out their razors.
Celebrities and normal people, alike, are jumping on this hairy trend.
Take, for example, the August cover of Vogue. The Crown‘s Emma Corrin is officially the first non-binary person to grace the cover — and they happen to have armpit hair!
One stop on Instagram will bring up a PLETHORA of people with hair in their armpit region.
Side Note: It also brings up people with hair in — eh’ hem — other regions. Proceed with caution.
But, what do YOU think of this trend? It’s not exactly new, but it’s back, baby!
