“Ava” Is The Secret Agent Movie I Didn’t Know I Needed In My Life

Let me start by prefacing that my dream job as a kid was being a secret agent. While everyone else was wanting to be ballerinas and firefighters…I legit wanted to be a secret agent.

So I got my thrills off of movies such as Mission Impossible, Lethal Weapon, and Bourne Identity. I am always drawn to movies that have secret agents. So when I saw one in the Netflix top ten, I was SOLD.

It also helped that I am a fan of Jessica Chastain, so i was pretty confident about this movie as soon as I saw it pop up. And I am SO glad I was not disappointed!

So have a movie with a female lead and there not be a huge romantic story entangled in it, is awesome. She is literally just a badass and doesn’t need a man to save her. Now there is drama and sadness, but it’s just refreshing for a movie not to have to rely on a romance to be good.

I give this one an A+. It’s been awhile since I have watched an action movie and have actually thoroughly enjoyed it. Props to Netflix for sure this time. You did good.
