Move Over Pumpkin Pie, Baskin-Robbins Has A Turkey Shaped Ice Cream Cake And It’s All I Want
Forget cooking a turkey this year! We always celebrate my birthday on Thanksgiving Day, and this year I’m thinking about skipping the actual turkey, and getting a turkey ice cream cake may just be the plan!
Apparently, this has been a thing since the 1970s, just different levels of amazingness. How did I not know this? I mean MOM… why did I not ever get a turkey ice cream cake growing up for my birthday?
The realistic one that we have this year was created in 2008. It’s shiny and surprisingly really looks like a turkey.
Don’t hate on me, but I do not like pumpkin pie at all, not even pumpkin spice coffee, none of it. But this… this is amazing!
Honestly, we’ll still have the traditional turkey Thanksgiving dinner, I would never skip the actual turkey. However, this is an add-on that I must have this year.
The ice cream cake is in the shape of a turkey, it even has legs! The legs are made from sugar cones and the “turkey” has a caramel praline glaze.
They even let you pick a flavor for the ice cream! Some of the flavors you can choose from including Old Fashioned Butter Pecan (one of my favorites), Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and more!
The turkey ice cream cake is available at select Baskin-Robbins shops throughout November! You can order online here. What do you think about this?
You may be wondering how do you cut this cake? Well, they have a carving video to show you exactly how to do it.
