As I’m sure you have heard by now, Betty White has passed away, this is how 2021 ended.

I’m also sure you probably know what a huge animal rights advocate Betty White was.

She was always involved in the rights of animals and loved them so much, we’re a lot alike in this way.

My love of animals started as a child, dogs were and are life to me!

I spend a lot of my time volunteering at our local shelters to help socialize dogs to help them get adopted quickly.

I’ve also fostered and trained a ton of dogs over the years and will continue doing so until I can no longer physically manage it.

What Is The ‘Betty White Challenge’?

Right now there is a trending hashtag on social media that is simply ‘#BettyWhiteChallenge’.

The challenge is for Betty White’s upcoming 100th birthday, we’re still celebrating and what better way to do that than to focus on something she loved with all of her heart… the animals!

How Do You Participate In The ‘Betty White Challenge’?

This is so simple!

On January 17th, the date that Betty would have turned 100 years old, choose your favorite shelter or rescue.

Choose some posts of available adoptable animals from the shelter to share on your own social media.

Then, make a donation of $5 or more (whatever you can afford) to the shelter in Betty White’s name!

Make The ‘Betty White Challenge’ A Yearly Thing!

Wouldn’t it be amazing if this became a yearly thing?

Every Betty White fan, which we know there are millions of, donated what they were able to afford to local shelters or rescues.

It would make such a huge impact on the well-being of the shelter and rescue animals!

I’m totally in 100% for this cause, let’s do it and make January 17th the biggest day for an influx of donations to the shelters and rescues!
