Burger King Adds a Red Whopper to Menus Just in Time for The New Spider-Man Movie

Burger King has once before added a red whopper to menus but this time around, the solid red bun has another purpose. 

Rather than bringing the heat, Burger King is igniting your spider-senses. 

For those of you without the spicy tongue, BK has included a red bun with black sesame seeds on its famous Whopper, and it’s all in celebration for the new Spider-Man film. 

The colorful bun sandwiches a patty that’s topped with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, pickles, Swiss cheese, salt, and pepper. 

Did you catch the change in cheeses?

If you ordered a Whopper before, you’d know that BK normally throws on a slice of American Cheese but this burger takes Swiss instead!

So go ahead and say it, you want Burger King for dinner tonight, (as do the rest of us).

Thanks to Burger King’s recent partnership with the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film, the stunning red bun isn’t the only Spider-Man themed food item you can snag off the menu.

To wash down your burger, the fast food chain will also be offering the new Spider-Verse Sundae.

If you’re curious, the new sundae will feature soft-serve ice cream that’s topped with red and black popping candies.

The red Whopper and the new sundae will both be available starting next week May 15 through June 31.

And don’t forget that the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie releases June 2 only at theatres!
