How To Make A Copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Latte At Home
With social distancing in the air, it can sometimes be hard to make that daily trip to Starbucks that you may be used to.
With Chai Tea Lattes being one of the more famous Starbucks beverages, we want to make sure you have the opportunity to make it for yourself at home!
How To Make A Copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Latte At Home
If you are happening to want a simple Chai Tea (sans the latte part), there are many options at your local grocery store or on Amazon. If you want to use the specific tea bags used at Starbucks, you will need to use the Teavana brand.
At Starbucks, they use one tea bag for 12oz of hot water and two tea bags for 16-20oz hot water.
You can also make a more natural based Chai Tea Latte by using tea bags instead of a Chai Concentrate. It is a little weaker in taste so you would need to double strength your tea before adding milk to it.
The Chai Tea Lattes made at Starbucks are made with a Chai Concentrate, and then half hot water and half steamed 2% milk. The iced version just has ice instead of the water portion.
There is a Chai Concentrate that you can buy straight off of Amazon, making it INCREDIBLY easy to make this at home! But most aren’t aware of that! You would only need to use the concentrate and milk since it already has water. Easy peasy!
