People Are Making ‘Cthulhu Turkeys’ and They Look Like Something From a Sci-Fi Alien Movie
Thanksgiving is my holiday, I was born on Thanksgiving day so even when my birthdate doesn’t fall on Thanksgiving we still celebrate that day.
I’m all about the traditional foods, I love turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing or dressing… all of it.
However, today I learned about the Cthulhu Turkey, and honestly… I’m a bit disturbed and maybe even a little frightened!
The Cthulhu Turkey is kind of like the Turducken, but with an alien-like twist to the appearance.
Instead of stuffing the turkey with a duck and chicken, It’s a turkey stuffed with an octopus.
Yes, you read that right, they shove a freaking octopus inside the turkey with all of its appendages hanging out.
If you’ve seen ‘Alien’, it looks like an alien bursting out from within and I have no idea how someone even came up with this idea.
But people make it and they like it… so hey… you do you, but this isn’t ever happening at my house!
Some people call it a Cthurkey…
Not only is there an octopus stuffed inside the turkey, but it is also garnished with crab legs and bacon for an even creepier appearance!
From what I have read, it seems like this weird food creation was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos.
