Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gave His Very Own Truck To A Truly Deserving Guy And It Is Giving Us All The Feels
I went a lot of years pretty intensely disliking Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But, he has slowly grown on me.
I think it was Moana that changed it for me. My daughter must have watched the movie eleventy hundred times, and at some point, I decided Dwayne Johnson was pretty cool.
And, if you haven’t seen Jungle Cruise, you MUST!
Now, he has done something that is bringing all the feels, and you just might need a tissue when you hear the story.
Mr. Johnson heard a story about U.S. Navy vet Oscar Rodriguez, and was moved enough to give him something big — his truck!!
You see, Mr. Rodriguez is a pretty stellar character. He is a personal trainer who always tries to keep it positive, he’s a leader in his church, he supports, and even makes meals for women who have been affected by domestic violence, and he even takes care of his 75-year-old momma!
On top of all that, he’s a Navy Veteran. He’s one who made sure America stayed safe and out of harm’s way.
So, Dwayne Johnson wanted to do something a little special for Mr. Rodriguez.
He showed up at a movie theater that he knew Oscar was going to be at.
He thanked him for everything he does for those in need.
And, then came the big gesture.
Thank you for your service, Brother. Enjoy your new truck.

Oscar responded in the only way he knew how to in the moment. He fell to the ground in disbelief. “What the heck is happening?”
You do a lot of good for people, man! You do a lot of good for people.

Dwayne actually gave Oscar his very own truck — a truck that he says is “his baby.”
It’s just love. I got you. I got you, brother.
Dwayne Johnson
Yep. Get out your Kleenex!!
That was pretty special. Man, what a good guy, and a guy like Oscar who does so much for so many people. His laundry list of caring credentials is pretty amazing. So, just an honor for me to give a little bit of joy to a dude who deserves probably a lot more than just my truck.
