I must say that I have always enjoyed Dyson products. They are top of the line. To this day, my mom still has not bought a new Dyson vacuum and she’s had it for over ten years now.

It’s not a secret that appliances don’t last as long as they used too, however in my opinion, Dyson products are one of the few that break the habit of products breaking down in five years or less.

Well the billionaire and founder James Dyson, has created yet another product that will benefit the world, except this time, it might just save lives.

Introducing the new ventilator from Dyson that was manufactured in just ten days, impressive right? He is now currently in the process of producing 15,000 ventilators.

As of recently, there has been a shortage of ventilators in hospitals due to the progressive amount of people who have respiratory problems because of the virus.

So what does a ventilator do? It provides assistance to individuals who can’t breathe on their own and Dyson has created a ventilator that addresses the specific needs of a Coronavirus patient.

Dyson started his new project after receiving a phone call from the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and both have agreed to call the new ventilator “CoVent”.

“This new device can be manufactured quickly, efficiently and at volume.”

“According to a letter sent to Dyson employees, the first order of the ventilator came from the United Kingdom government with a request of 10,000 units.”

A spokesperson from Dyson has also said that the ventilators should be ready by early April, but that’s not all the good news, Dyson has stated that he will be donating 5,000 units to the international effort to tackle the virus.

“The core challenge was how to design and deliver a new, sophisticated medical product in volume and in an extremely short space of time.” “The race is now on to get it into production.”
