This weekend, big crazy winds and super low temperatures did their best to turn Lake Erie into a scene right out of a dystopian fiction.
Houses and trees all around Lake Erie are covered in several feet of thick, white ice.
Making them look more like an ice sculpture than actual homes.
Temperatures were in the low to mid twenties, and huge waves were splashing against the shore.
It’s completely gorgeous.
But people are worried about their houses.
They aren’t designed to hold that much ice.
