Everything I Am Feeling About The Beauty and The Best Remake

Yesterday something glorious happened. The teaser trailer for the new Beauty and the Best movie starring none other than HERMIONE herself came out.

From the very moment the screen went black to start off the monologue at the beginning of the first Disney Beauty and the Best movie I was hooked. This movie had everything. Daring sword fights, magic spells, far off places, a prince in disguise. 😛 And I loved it. I have easily seen it over a hundred times. I can recite most of it without even turning on the movie. It’s safe to say I am more than just an aficionado, I am an expert.

So, when the trailer for the 2017 Disney’s real life Beauty and the Best popped up in my Facebook, stream, I sat down, took a deep breath and watched. Then I watched it again, and then I watched it again.

And here is everything I am feeling about the Beauty and the Best Remake:

OMG IS THE DISNEY CASTLE ACTUALLY THE BEAST’S CASTLE?

Then, they pan to the inside of the castle, and the beginning music from the first Beauty and the Beast plays, and I die. Because it’s perfect.

and they show us the ballroom. Which is simply gorgeous. I like that it looks all dark and mysterious, and not bright and cheery. I can really see where this is going.

A candlestick? COULD IT BE LUMIERE?

Oh, please let it be him.

In the first movie, I guess I never thought about it before, but the Beast seems to be pretty ageless, but here he looks much younger.

Then they show us the single rose, that was offered to the Beast in return for shelter from the bitter cold, and I just melt into a puddle of nostalgia and happiness.

IT’S BELLE! IT’S BELLE! IT’S HERMIONE! No, wait, I mean IT’S BELLE!

Okay admittedly this is where I start to get a little worried, because I am not sure if I can ever see Hermione as anything other than Hermione, but she is going to make an excellent Belle, I just know it. I really hope it at least.

MARCH 17 OF 2017! THAT IS ALMOST A YEAR AWAY! I am not sure I can wait that long, I mean– I think I can, but CAN I?!? Yes, I can be patient.

All I know is that this movie better knock it out of the park, because MY EXPECTATIONS ARE VERY HIGH! MMMK?
