In case you don’t remember, last month we shared how one woman made $45,000 a week selling her farts in a jar.

No, I am not kidding. It is truly her side hustle. Or, I should say was.

When I first heard this story, I was so jealous. I was like, um – – I made a bad career choice if all it takes to make that much money is to sell my body gases.

Well, turns out, the grass is not greener on the other side because that woman ended up in the hospital from selling her farts.

What Happened To The Woman Who Sold Her Farts In Jar?

Stephanie Matto, which you may know from the show 90 Day Fiancé, is the woman behind selling her farts in a jar. She made $45,000 a week selling farts in a jar for nearly $1,000 each. However, shortly after her video on TikTok went viral, she began experiencing medical issues.

In the viral video, Stephanie explains how she gets the “farts going” by eating certain foods which includes smoothies, yogurt and hard boiled eggs.

Turns out, she was eating that nearly every day which caused her to be hospitalized.

According to reports, Stephanie announced her retirement from selling farts after she had to be rushed to a hospital with chest pains fearing she was having a heart attack.

After several tests, doctors told her that her pain was the result of her steady diet of gas-inducing beans and eggs.

So, basically, she was having chest pains because she was trying so hard to fart. Um, what?

Stephanie even told told Jam Press:

“I was advised to change my diet and to take a gas suppressant medication, which has effectively ended my business,” she said.

I think the moral of the story here is, when something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Also, don’t quit your day job to sell farts. It’s not worth it.
