Google’s Magic Eraser is one of the coolest photo features to hit the market.
Up until now, the Magic Eraser has been an exclusive product, but it’s now going to be available to almost everyone with a smartphone.
What Is The Google Magic Eraser?
Well, it’s the insane ability to instantly get rid of unwanted people or objects from any photo.
Where has this feature been all my life, right?!?
According to Yahoo, the Magic Eraser will look for anything that looks out of place in your pictures — people, objects, or other clutter.
When the Magic Eraser’s algorithm finds something it thinks you don’t want in the photo, it’ll recommend deleting it.
All you have to do to get rid of the unwanted part of the photo is tap the recommendation. Like magic, that part of the picture will be deleted.
But, sometimes the Magic Eraser may not catch the clutter in your picture.
Never fear. You can manually delete things from your photos.
Perhaps the coolest part of the whole thing, the Magic Eraser predicts what is behind the photo, and it will smooth over the picture.
How Do I Get The Magic Eraser?
Well, you have to pay for it — of course.
The Magic Eraser comes as a feature when you sign up for Google One, Google’s subscription service.
Luckily, the cost of Google One is pretty darn reasonable.
They start at $1.99 per month for Basic, $2.99 for Standard, and $9.99 for Premium.
You can read about what comes with each package HERE.
Psst — Google will be offering up a FREE trial sometime in March, so you can try it out before you buy.
