Here’s All The Times ‘The Simpsons’ Has Predicted The Future Over The Years

Okay, if you are here, you’ve seen it and what you might not know is that The Simpsons predicted the plot twist where Daenerys burned the city to the ground and they did it 2 years ago!
This led me to look up all the times ‘The Simpsons’ Has Predicted The Future Over The Years and the specifics and amount of times they’ve done this, is alarming interesting!
‘The Simpsons’ Has Predicted The Future Over The Years
For starters and more recently, they predicted the plot twist where Daenerys burned the city to the ground using her dragon. This prediction was made 2 years ago in episode 1, Season 29.

The Simpsons correctly predicted Donald Trump becoming president in 2000. They even apparently got it down right to the electoral map by state! Watch the clip below.
The Simpsons predicted the Siegfried and Roy tiger attack in Season 5, Episode 10 in 1993 and the prediction came true in 2003 during one of the live Las Vegas shows.
The Smart Watch was predicted back in 1995 which is nearly 20 years before the Apple Watch was announced.
The 2014 Ebola Outbreak was predicted back in 1997 during an episode where it was announced on a Curious George book…
Lady Gaga’s Half-Time Show was predicted even down to the flight in the sky above the crowd years before her actual performance. It’s crazy how similar her outfit and performance was in 2017.
This will pull at your heart strings but it seems as if they predicted the Toys ‘R’ Us closure too! The prediction happened during an episode in 2004 which was 14 years before their closure.
They predicted that Fox would be owned by Disney back in 1998 and it was announced in 2017 that Disney acquired Fox for $52.4 billion.

Prediction of faulty voting machines came out in season 20, episode 4 (2008) which was 4 years before a voting machine in Pennsylvania had to be removed after it kept changing people’s votes for Barack Obama to ones for his Republican rival Mitt Romney.
One of the newest predictions that people are still unsure whether is true or not, is the prediction of Pokemon Go. In the clip below, Homer is caught playing a game naming off Pokemon, could it be Pokemon Go? If so, it would have been predicted in 2007 while Pokemon Go was released in 2016.
