Hot Cocoa Slime
If something is made with chocolate, I want it in my mouth. Seriously, nothing should smell like chocolate and not be edible. Okay, so I ‘might’ be alone in this, but just in case I’m not here’s a recipe for totally edible Hot Cocoa Slime. It’s ooey, gooey, and everything you want slime to be…plus, safe for kiddo’s who still put things in their mouths (or adults like me who put everything chocolate scented in our mouths). Have fun!
What You Need To Make Hot Cocoa Slime:
- 1 Tablespoon Metamucil or store brand psyllium-based fiber powder
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup (about 2 packets) Hot cocoa mix (no marshmallows)
How To Make Hot Cocoa Slime:
In a large Pyrex bowl (or microwavable bowl), combine the cold water with fiber powder and the hot cocoa mix until everything is completely dissolved.
Microwave on high for three minutes (after two minutes you should see bubbles).
Stir mixture, then microwave for an additional minute.
Remove and allow cool until it can be safely handled. Have fun!
Pro Tip: This slime is TOTALLY edible, but since it’s made from psyllium fiber it ‘might’ be a good idea not to eat all the slime in one setting! Also, if your slime isn’t quite slimy-enough when it cools, pop it in the microwave for another 2 minutes.
