John Travolta’s Wife Kelly Preston Has Died After A 2-Year Battle With Breast Cancer
I am so sad and I am a bit of shock.
The news just broke that John Travolta’s Wife Kelly Preston Has Died After Battling Breast Cancer. She was just 57 years old.
This is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to the family. I am a bit in shock too because I don’t remember ever hearing anything about her breast cancer.
In fact, it seemed to be that she was battling it privately and after reading what happened, that is exactly what she did.
The news of her passing came after John Travolta made the announcement on his personal Instagram:
It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.

OMG this is just so sad and my heart just breaks for them.
In case you didn’t know, Kelly Preston was known for her roles in Jerry Maguire, Twins, and Mischief. Her and John were married for nearly 29 years and they had 3 children.
A representative for the family made a statement to People magazine clarifying how the family wished to keep the diagnosis and her fight private until this time.
“On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife, and mother, passed away following a two-year battle with breast cancer,” the rep told the publication. “Choosing to keep her fight private, she had been undergoing medical treatment for some time, supported by her closest family and friends.”
I completely respect that and I cannot imagine what the Travolta family is going through.
Kelly was survived by her husband John Travolta, her 20-year-old daughter Ella and her 9-year-old son Benjamin. Their son Jett died nearly 11 years ago at the age of 16.
Kelly will be missed by many and we are sending our love and condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
