What Is The ‘Josh Fight’ Everyone Is Talking About?

If you’ve been on social media at all today, chances are, you saw people talking about the “Josh Fight”.

It probably made you scratch your head wondering exactly what the heck The Josh Fight is.

So, why is EVERYONE talking about The Josh Fight?

Well, it’s because, it ended up being a pretty epic thing.

The Josh Fight was invented as a joke last year after a group of guys all named Josh, decided to get together on 4/24/21 at a specific location to fight.

The coordinates was to a random spot to meet somewhere in Nebraska.

Whoever won the fight, got to keep the Josh name.

What they didn’t anticipate was the meme ended up going viral all over social media thus bringing in a ton more people named Josh.

Nobody actually knew if anyone would show up but to everyone’s surprise, hundreds showed up to the event and it was a pretty epic thing.

Now, it wasn’t to actually fight physically, it was actually more for fun.

Everyone had pool noodles to “fight” with and it ended up being a really good time.

In fact, the event ended up turning into a charitable event.

Initially, money for the event was going to be raised for legal fees to help the Joshes who lost to change their names but that changed.

A fundraiser was instead launched to The Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, and every single participant was encouraged to bring at least one non-perishable food item to the Food Bank of Lincoln.

As you can see, the turnout was impressive, and not only did every Josh in attendance have a good time, but it ended up benefiting those in need too.

Oh and in case you are wondering, this adorable little guy was crowned the winner of the Josh Fight.

He is 4 years old and named Josh Vinson Jr. Isn’t he adorable?!
