Things are about to change in the world of vaping, which may or may not affect you. Listen up!

The Food and Drug Administration just issued a denial order to Juul. Basically, it is telling the company it has to remove its vaping and e-cigarette products from the U.S. marketplace.

The reason? It is apparently because of Juul’s application to continue selling the product.

According to USA Today, Juul, the first to market and sell the e-cigarette, failed to show evidence that the chemicals used in the e-cigs would be “appropriate for the protection of public health.”

Other companies that sell vaping products are able to show that their products help adults cut down on, or even quit smoking cigarettes.

Juul, however, failed to show that their products do the same.

In fact, many think that Juul has added to the epidemic of kids starting to vape.

[Critics have] accused Juul of targeting minors through its marketing practices and youth-friendly flavors. In recent years, the pushback prompted Juul to eliminate flavors such as mango and crème. It now sells just two variations: tobacco and menthol.

If you are one of the many who partake in the activity of vaping, you may be worried that this decision will affect other vaping products.

Right now, if the vaping companies steer clear of the youths, they are golden.

All of their marketing must work to reduce youth access and exposure to their products.

What do you think about this ban on Juul product sales?
