Krispy Kreme says you don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to get a slice of grandma’s apple pie, considering their latest donut creation combines popular pies we typically eat on the day of thanks.
Combining pecan, pumpkin, lemon cream, and dutch apple, Krispy Kreme has turned your favorite whole pies into mini doughnuts that taste exactly like a pie that was baked in the oven.
Including four new donuts inspired by Thanksgiving pies, the donut chain is introducing mini-sized doughnuts with a large amount of filling.
Starting with the Mini Pecan Pie Doughnut, this mini sweet treat is a glazed doughnut topped with a gooey butter tart filling, chopped pecans, and snickerdoodle cookie pieces.
The Mini Pumpkin Pie is exactly how it sounds; a donut stuffed with pumpkin pie filling, dipped in pumpkin pie spiced icing, topped with snickerdoodle cookie pieces, and finished with a dollop of Kreme.
Next is the Mini Lemon Kreme Pie doughnut that features a baked treat dipped in icing, crammed with lemon filling, topped with a dollop of Kreme, and sprinkled with a dusting of powdered sugar.
And finally the mini Dutch Apple Pie Doughnut includes apple filling, caramel-flavored icing, topped with cinnamon, snickerdoodle cookie pieces, and drizzled with caramel-flavored icing.
