I love potato chips that are out of the ordinary! Currently, my favorite is a prime rib and horseradish flavored potato chip! It tastes just like what the name implies, in fact, I could make a sandwich with just the chips and bread.

Well now Lay’s is releasing 5 new flavors of their own and I can not wait to try them all!

These are all dinner type flavors and they all sound amazing! None of them are flavors that I have seen come from any other brand before, so this is new and exciting!

Lay’s chose well-known restaurants in the United States to use as inspiration for all of the newest flavors. There is definitely something for everyone in this mix! I’m totally down for all 5 flavors in the “Flavor Icon” line!

Everyone loves pizza, right? Lay’s Kettle Cooked New York Style Pizza flavor is inspired by Grimaldi’s in New York City, New York.

One of my favorite things to eat is a Philly cheesesteak! It can be super hard to find a good one here in the south, but it can be done. I can not wait to check out the Lay’s Philly Cheesesteak which is inspired by Geno’s Steaks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Or how about chicken? I have to be honest and say I have no idea what hot chicken is. I assume it’s spicy? Lay’s Nashville Hot Chicken is inspired by Party Fowl in Nashville, Tennessee.

Here in Texas, they love the Carnitas street taco! I bet the Lay’s Wavy Carnitas Street Taco flavor will be a huge hit! This one is inspired by El Torito in Los Angeles, California.

Another favorite meal of mine is Chile Relleno! So freaking good! Now I can have it as a chip? Dude, this is just too much happiness in one post! Lay’s Chile Relleno flavor is inspired by Cocina Azul in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

You will be able to find the Lay’s Flavor Icon potato chips in stores nationwide the week of July 13th.

Most major retailers will carry them, except the Chile Relleno is exclusively available at 7-Eleven and Walmart only. Sadly, it is for a limited time only, so if you find a flavor you like, stock up!

Now if they would just make these fake Lay’s flavor’s shown below come to life, things would be so much better…
