If I had to choose one scent to smell forever it would probably be Love Spell from Victoria’s Secret. It’s just so fresh and smells like a field of fresh flowers in spring. I dunno, I just love it! So I had to just find a way I could incorporate that smell into my life like daily and that is when I came up with an idea to make Homemade Love Spell Soap.

It smells like the real thing and now I can have this smell whenever I want. If you like this smell too, you will love this tutorial!

What You Will Need to Make Homemade Love Spell Soap:

How to Make Homemade Love Spell Soap:

  1. Cut your soap base into small cubes and place into your microwave safe measuring cup.
  2. Microwave for 30 seconds then remove and stir. Repeat this process until all the soap is melted.
  3. Add your mica. Keep in mind it will look a little clumpy so just continue to stir and stir until it is well mixed. You can also spray the top with a little isopropyl alcohol and it will help break up the clumps.love spell soap step1
  4. Add the love spell fragrance oil. You will only need about 5-6 drops depending on how strong you want the scent to be. Stir well.love spell soap step2
  5. Pour the melted soap base into the cavities of your heart mold. Tip: Place a cutting board under the mold to help support it while the soap hardens.love spell soap step3
  6. Spray the tops of the soaps with isopropyl alcohol to remove any air bubbles that made their way to surface.
  7. Now allow the soap to harden for about 5-6 hours (overnight is best) before removing from the mold. To remove, simply gently press the backside of the mold and the soaps will pop right out.
  8. Soaps can be used immediately or wrapped in plastic wrap for future use.

I also want to mention that the speckled look in my final soap wasn’t exactly intentional. It was some of the mica left over that didn’t mix but it’s entirely safe to use and I think it gives the soap a bit of character. 🙂
