What You Need To Make Maple Glazed Chicken:

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper (to taste0
  • 4 pieces chicken

How To Make Maple Glazed Chicken:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix maple syrup, lemon juice and butter together in a small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes. Spray a baking dish and place chicken in it. Add salt and pepper to the chicken. Bake 10 minutes. Remove chicken from oven and pour on glaze. Bake 15 minutes more or until juices run clear.

  1. I brushed chicken with ovo, added pepper. Cooked in oven at 350 for 20 mins, then poured maple syrup over chicken. Syrup thickens and I rotate till chicken is done. No problem with syrup no sticking. Less calories too!

  2. I used real maple syrup and it didn’t turn out. You have to use the fake corn syrup stuff in order to get the glaze and for it to stick to the chicken. I even did several applications of glaze every 10 minutes and it still didn’t stick.
