McDonald’s Holiday Pies Are Back And I’ll Take A Dozen
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. McDonald’s has finally brought their Holiday Pie back, and I’m simply bursting with holiday cheer!
Honestly, I’m not typically a pie eater. If I’m at the drive-thru, and they say, “Would you like an apple pie with that?”, my go-to answer is always, “NO, thank you.”
But, when they say, “Would you like a HOLIDAY Pie with that?”, I simply have to say, “YES!”
Seriously, have you had one of these pies yet? They taste like warm cake batter, surrounded by a frosted sugar cookie.
Technically, it’s a vanilla custard, surrounded by a sugary dough crust. This crust is covered in a layer of thin frosted coating, and speckled with bright-colored sprinkles. To say YUM, is a ginormous understatement.
These McPies* have been spotted all over the United States, so odds are, they are right at your local McDonald’s, just calling for you to come get them!
If you are like me, you’ll want to buy like 26 five to keep at home for dessert. They reheat nicely!
Sources are saying that each individual franchise location has the OPTION to bring these pies back, or just forego them for the year. I’d like to have a sit down with any owner that DOESN’T bring back these pies. I’m going to go on record as saying THEY NEED TO HAVE THEM!
These pies won’t be around for long. Stop what you are doing, and go to McDonald’s NOW to get one — or FIVE.
