However, they are still not the best choice considering they have been recalled for different things over the years as well.

The safest option, according to science and research is glass, many pet professionals I know simply use Pyrex glass bowls for meals and water.
If you want your pet to be safe and healthy, this is the best option available for your dog’s food and water dishes at this time and it’s also cheap and convenient!
