Meet the New Generation of Kids Hangin’ Out in The ‘That ’70s Show’ Sequel Series
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not good with change. Like, AT ALL.
So, I’m really struggling to get behind That ’90s Show, which is set to premiere on Netflix January 19.
The OG That ’70s Show, to me, is like the most perfect show, and it’s going to be hella hard to recapture that magic. And, I’m kinda scared to see them try.
The synopsis for That ’90s Show describes it being set in “1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI, kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”
In an effort to try to get excited about this sequel that’s been decades in the making, let’s meet the new cast.
Meet The Cast Of That ’90s Show
LEIA FORMAN (Callie Haverda) – Donna and Eric’s daughter, who’s smart as a whip with some of the same insecurities as her father.
She has decided to stay in Point Place, WI for the summer, after she quickly bonds with a few other teens from the neighborhood.
GWEN (Ashley Aufderheide) – She lives next door to the Foremans in Donna’s old house. Gwen is the rebellious one in the group. She likes grungy girl music, and makes a fast bond with Leia.
JAY (Mace Coronel) – One look at this cool charmer will probably clue you in to the fact that he is the son of Kelso and Jackie.
OZZIE (Reyn Doi) – He’s sweet, lovable, and just a little bit snarky. Ozzie wishes the world would accept his sexuality as well as his friends already do.
NATE (Maxwell Acee Donovan) – He is Gwen’s half-brother and he’s dating Nikki, who he constantly dotes over. He is your typical jock, but if you look deeper, there may be just a little bit more.
NIKKI (Sam Morelos) – She’s smart, ambitious, and has her sights set on being a doctor. Her boyfriend is Nate, and she loves him despite all of his jock-i-ness — if you know what I mean.
What Cast Is Returning From That ’70s Show?
Of course, Kitty and Red will be back. We need their basement, after all, or it wouldn’t be a proper That (insert decade)s Show.
Eric and Donna are back — it’s their daughter, Leia, that’s started it all.
We get to see Jackie and Kelso again! I hope their dynamic is just the same.
And, of course, Fez will be back!!
