This New Kia Seats 11 People So, Go Ahead And Bring The Entire Family For A Ride
Big family? Heck, nowadays if you have more than 2 kids it’s likely you are needing a bigger car such as an SUV or Minivan. Preferably something that offers a third row.
And let’s not talk about the space needed to accommodate more than one car seat…
Well, Kia not only has you covered, but they are giving you enough room to bring the whole family including Grandma, Grandpa and weird Uncle Kyle too.
Kia has a new ride that seats 11.
Yes, I said ELEVEN and it’s basically a compact bus if you ask me.
Okay, in reality, it’s actually considered a Mini Van but it does have 11 seats among 4 rows (most SUV’s and mini vans only have 3 rows).
Obviously, with the 4th row you literally have no cargo space but hey, at least you soccer moms can haul around the entire soccer team (minus the gear), right?
It is called the Kia Carnival and is a mini van with an large SUV-inspired design meaning it looks more like an SUV than a van.
It features rear doors on both sides that are also sliding doors that open much like you’d see in a VAN and the seats move forward and sideways to allow passengers to enter the 3rd-row seats and fourth rows.
The cabin area really does resemble that of a van.
The fourth row seems to be quite small so good for children or small adults but you can also entirely lay it flat inside of the car for additional cargo.
There is plenty of room when fold seats down or slide the seats back. It offers quite a bit of flexibility on the amount of people you lug around in it.
Aside from being able to haul around a small carnival (see what I did there?) it has several fancy features that makes this pretty hard to pass up.
The Kia Carnival is a 2022 model and the base model starts at $32,100 (8-passenger) and goes up as you get more seats, features, etc.
Depending on the model and trims you choose, you’ll have features like a navigation system, rear parking sensors, blind-spot cameras, remote start, apple carplay, rear climate control and more.
The van does take diesel so I can only imagine how bad the gas mileage will be but hey, may be worth it for all the room, right?
The Kia Grand Carnival comes in a 6,7,8 or 11 passenger model among 4 different colors including: Snow White Pearl, Silky Silver, Aurora Black Pearl and Panthera Metal.
So, what do you think? Is this something you’d be interested in?
I certainly think it’s cool especially if you have a large family.
You can check out the 11-person Kia Carnival in the video below. You can also read the manufactuer specs here.
When is Kia 11 seaters come to Australia ?
Where can I buy this Van I’ve been looking for a while
As cool as this vehicle is, I’d like to bring attention to the complete KIA line. Most KIA owners know this fact but did y’all know KIA truly appreciates their customers? I’ve owned a KIA since 2005. In 2016 I came across a customer loyalty contest they were running. I entered my essay about my love for my Optima. I won! But I was far from the only winner. KIA flew in winners and their guests from all around the world to Seoul, Korea for a 5 day/4 night all expenses paid trip. We were treated like royalty! That wasn’t the only year they did that either. It was amazing! I can’t say it enough…I love KIA!
Definitely need an 11 seater. We have 7 kids and our last road trip to Milwaukee was horrible in our 9-seater suburban. I’ve contacted the head quarters in Irvine CA to see if they’d ship me a back seat so i could buy an 8 seater and have it installed.
With no good options for big Families. The Grand Carnival is the BEST ANSWER to the NV, Transit, 12 seater VAN, etc.
We need to start signing petitions to get these in the USA ASAP!
I volunteer KIA to start the petition List on all media platforms.
…Go-
@Joseph Harbauguh, hi I second this. Im on my 5th child and it’s hard finding something nice without the mini van touch. I’ll sign the petition
@Joseph Harbauguh, ready to sign! I have nine, 10 if we are counting hubby lol! Def need this!
I need one
Where can I order it?
it’s nice all but $32,100 ya that’s bit much iv got 6 kids but 3 in car seats I can get doudge hafe this price seats 6-8 people 🤔
@rachel, Yes, there’s always the used market (which you’d have to go if you want a Grand Caravan), but this article is written for new car buyers (it’s new after all), who need 11 seats
What about getting hit from behind ? Those back seats are right at the back of the vehicle …
@Mandy, KIA is the only one I’d trust 100% to keep my family safe no matter how close the seats are. And truthfully, they’re no closer than the side seats are and have been forever.
OMG I have 6 kids and this would be a dream!!!! We have an expedition right now and we can ONLY fit our family and barely because 5 of my 6 are in car seats still! I wish I had the money for this!!!!!!
Man if I had the money I would get it that way I could take my kids and grandkids and are very first family vacation
I want this now. I could go out with all 7 grandchildren and my 2 daughters and husband. Wow.
I would love one!!!
On one of the pictures it shows the 4th and the 3rd row facing each other. Is that actually possible or not. Because that would be really cool on family trips. Thanks
@Lynn, no I watch videos dosen’t even show that.even did YouTube nothing unless iv mist something
@rachel, this feature is not available in US as it is illegal to put a reverse facing child seat on a seat that will make it forward facing one. But there are posts online that claim there is a way you can modify a certain “restrictor” to make it work.
@Alex, And I take it they’re worried about litigation.
I cannot believe im saying this about a minivan but OMG want the 11 seater carnival sooooo bad ?! I have 3 very active boys who are 2yrs 4yrs and 6yrs old they constantly fight in the car so having a vehicle that they each could be in a different row would be life changing for me! They wouldn’t fight over space we would have so much room for family trips! the only hang up is the price tag however i do feel its a far price for everything you get
Where can I get one
I would love this as I’m a single mum of 9 children and we could all do things together as I would have enough seats to
No headrests on the centre seats? Not a seat in my opinion… time for spinal/neck injuries.
@Self, there is a head rest. It slide up an down depending on how high you want it
@Self, I mean, that seems normal to me. That being said, we buy older vehicles.
They need to make the KIA VAN WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. I LOVED MY KIA VAN,BUT MY SPECIAL NEEDS DAUGHTER IS IN A WHEELCHAIR, SO I HAD TO GET A DIFFERENT VAN.I WANT MY KIA BACK
When will it be available. In Australia…..
I love it I had the money I would buy one for shore.
@Kristy biggs, I would not use it at shores, if they are located at saltwater as rust may start developing prematurely, but maybe if you get some good anti rust treatment it’s okay.
Better than the old Carnival
Will this be released in Australia?
Price
@Chuck Boucher, $32,000 +
Can someone donate this to me please ?
I need one now
