Pixar’s ‘Elemental’ Is Set To Hit Theaters And Sometimes Opposites React
Pixar is about to drop their 27th movie into theaters. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about a film in my life!
Much like Inside Out and its emotions, Elemental takes us on a journey of what it would be like if the 4 elements were actually living beings.
Elemental is set in a city where the 4 elements — fire, water, land, and air — live together. Some elements mix well together, and some do not.
The movie follows Ember (fire) — a little firecracker of a woman — and Wade (water) — a go-with-the-flow kinda guy. They discover exactly how much they have in common, even though they are quite different.
Obviously, water and fire usually don’t mix. But, as you can imagine, a sweet little romance blossoms between the two.
Like many family films, Elemental will go beyond pointed comedy and aim to create distinct sensibilities that help its viewers have a better understanding of the world they live in.

Early concept art for Elemental took us on a visual journey of what life might look like for Ember and Wade. It shows them traversing the city together, engaged in conversation and taking in the sights.
Now, a NEW photo gives us a better glimpse into Ember and Wade’s relationship, and now I can’t wait for the full trailer!
