Dubbed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, we now know that the special will reunite actors David Yost and Walter Emanuel Jones who played the original Blue and Black Rangers thanks to Entertainment Weekly who showcased the first-look photos.
Catherine Sutherland, Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley, and Johnny Yong Bosch, who have all played the Pink, Red, Yellow, and Black Rangers will also be featured in the Netflix special too!

“We went through the audition process together and launched the Power Rangers franchise,” David Yost mentioned to EW. “It was such a surreal experience to be on the set of Power Rangers again after 28 years.”David Yost
The photos, which were first revealed by Entertainment Weekly show both Jones and Yost back in their iconic suits while other photos featured Cardenas, Yost, and Sutherland ready to morph.
The first-look photos even show the newest Power Ranger Minh, the daughter of the original Yellow Ranger Trini who passed away in a car accident years ago.
The new Netflix special will feature the Rangers coming “face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise ‘Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,’ Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome,” according to the crew from the reunion special.
And currently, it is unknown whether or not their will be a tribute paid to Jason David Frank in the upcoming reunion special.
Fans can expect the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always to drop in a few months come this spring, April 19th, only on Netflix!
