Meet Milkshake the adorable and rare “pink” pug from London.
Most of my friends have dogs, my best friend even had two dogs that fell in love and created little puppies together. However for myself, I never grew up with a one, but it’s made me LOVE dogs even more.
My mom and I wanted one in the worst way, but my dad wouldn’t go for it because there was no time to care for the dog, which ultimately he was right about. But maybe after seeing this rare pug, I don’t see how he’ll pass up the idea after seeing this puppy!
There’s an internet star that’s caught the eye of many dog lovers and his name is Milkshake. Now I know what you’re thinking, usually when people name their dogs “Milkshake”, they’re chocolate brown with white spots all over or vis versa. Although in this case, the color of this pug is, drum roll please… PINK!
Yes, pink! The rarity of this pug’s skin is so scarce, that it’s one of less than 100 of its kind in the world! However, that also means that there are more pugs out there that look just like him and I’m already freaking out about it.
So what makes a pug’s skin pink? Well, Milkshake was born with a lack of pigmentation that he inherited from an albino pug.
With almost 64,000 fans, this pug will have more followers than I will ever have and I’m okay with that because just look at those adorable blue eyes!
The owner Maria, spotted the pug at a young age playing with his brothers and sisters and knew she had to have him.

Currently, Maria has a trainer for Milkshake who is working with the pup to be possibly featured in advertisements or upcoming films. Along with Milkshake’s fame and glory, Maria also makes sure to spoil him with every chance she gets with weekly dog visits to the spa and lots and lots of chicken!
Now I don’t know about you, but my day has been made after seeing a pink puppy for the very first time!
