Unprovoked attacks have become a common thing over the years and it’s only getting worse. It is so sad that you can not walk down the street without risk. Rick Moranis was a victim of an unprovoked attack Thursday at 7:30 am., who would do this to such a nice guy?
The attack happened on Central Park West near 70th street in the Upper West Side. The entire thing was caught on camera.
Rick Moranis was simply walking down the street when a person punched him in the head knocking him to the ground. He went to the hospital after the random attack due to pain in his head, hip, and back.
After being released from the hospital he did file a report at the local police precinct. They have reached out to the public for any information on who the attacker is.
Please, always be aware of your surroundings. We truly hope he is ok, even the mental effects of being attacked can outweigh and outlast the physical injuries. I’ve been there.
