Spring Has Sprung Mango Blueberry Smoothie
I love the spring, but probably for WAY different reasons then the rest of uns. For me, spring is all about the fresh fruits that are popping up at the grocery stores. I can smell spring in the air as I walk through the aisles: suddenly there are bright red strawberries, delicious raspberries, and of course, all those richly blue blueberries and juicy ripe melons. That’s what I love so much about this Mango Blueberry Smoothie: it really is like I’m sipping spring right from the glass. Now, I know the rest of you are all about cleaning, and mowing those lawns, but both of those are awful. I’m just saying, if I have a choice between enjoying a sweet treat or sneezing my way through my winter-dust-coated bookshelf, I’m picking the smoothie every single time. And I hope you do, too! Enjoy!
What You Need To Make A Mango Blueberry Smoothie:

Mango Layer:

How To Make A Mango Blueberry Smoothie:
This one is super easy, and so deliciously great for you: in a blender, combine the blueberry layer ingredients and pulse until smooth. Pour that mixture into a glass and keep it close at hand!
Now, rinse out the blender and combine the mango layer ingredients. Gently (so they don’t mix and get all weird looking) pour the mixture on top of the blueberry layer.
This smoothie is such an amazing spring treat. Mangoes are fresh in stores again, and blueberries are starting to roll in, straight off of the bushes. Definitely a seasonal smoothie, so make this before the summer flavors start!
Top it with some chia seeds for a bit of crunch, and some extra antioxidants!
Enjoy!
