This is the coolest countdown calendar I have seen this year. But then, I’m a little biased; it IS The Nightmare Before Christmas, afterall.
I love this time of year — from right now until December 25th — because it’s the season of Jack Skellington!
Don’t you absolutely ADORE everything Jack Skellington and The Nightmare Before Christmas? My most recent obsession has been these glorious Nightmare Before Christmas high-top sneakers. GAH!! So cute!!

Now, you’ve most definitely seen Christmas countdown calendars before. You’ve probably even seen Halloween countdown calendars. But, THIS calendar is BOTH a Christmas AND a Halloween countdown calendar!
I’m pretty sure it’s the ONLY calendar in the history of countdown calendars that can legit play the dual role of Christmas and Halloween at the same time — afterall, The Nightmare Before Christmas is BOTH a Christmas and a Halloween movie.
This stackable countdown calendar is made of wood, and has 3 or 4 layers — depending on how you set it up.
It’s absolutely perfect. I should have requested the three bricks. Because with just the two, some dates can’t be done. Which of course it’s understandable. Either way. It’s perfect

The bottom piece is reversible. One side says “Halloween,” and one side says “Xmas.” You just turn it to whichever holiday you are counting down.
The second level says “Days ‘Til,” and you just keep that one stationary. It can be used for BOTH holidays.
The third level is where it starts to differ. You can choose from 2, 3, or 4 number blocks — allowing you to do a full year countdown or a countdown that lasts about a month.

You also get an accent block — which has pictures of Jack, Oogie Boogie, Zero, and other characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. This accent block can either go on level 3 if you choose to get the 2-number block, or it can go on top of the 3 or 4 number blocks — making the accent block the fourth layer.
I’m thinking that I totally want the 3-number blocks, so I can keep this stackable calendar up all year long. I’ll just countdown to Xmas ALL YEAR!!
This calendar starts at $28 for the 2-block calendar, and goes up to $36 for the 3-block calendar. How reasonable, right?!? I had to check the price 3 times, because I just couldn’t believe it!
