The New Starburst Airs Gummies Will Blow Your Favorite Gummy Away
Y’all, I can not wait to get my hands on a bag of the new Starburst Airs candy!
I love Starburst, but sadly my teeth just can not handle them anymore… but Starburst in a light gummy cloud form sounds doable!
Mars Wrigley has stepped up the gummy game with this new creation and the Starburst Airs candy is being called a next-generation gummy and it’s been aerated!
When I hear the word aerated that makes me think they will be kind of soft and fluffy, well they do have an inflated texture so my hopes are that they are soft since they are described as “pillow-like”.
STARBURST is delivering better moments and more smiles to gummy fans with our next-generation aerated gummies — STARBURST Airs. STARBURST Airs are reimagined gummies that will leave candy-lovers enamored with the combination of STARBURST flavors in a pillow-like texture.
Justin Hollyn-Taub, senior director, U.S. Fruit Snacks for Mars Wrigley, said in a press release.
The new candy comes in two different varieties:
- Original
- Sour Tropical
The original is all of your favorite traditional Starburst flavors, which are cherry, lemon (my favorite!), strawberry, and orange.
The Sour Tropical flavors are kiwi strawberry, pineapple, passion fruit, and mango.
You should be able to find the new Starburst Airs in select retailers this fall, however, the nationwide rollout will not start until 2022.
