A Super Simple Easter Decorating Tip

I love Easter. It’s pink and bubbly and you get to make small children run around looking for things you’ve hidden all over the yard as revenge for all those times they hid waffles behind your toilet.

But, my favorite part of all is the Easter dinner. You get to sit around the table as a family while you eat HoneyBaked Ham (blog sponsor) and just be together as a whole family. I don’t like to spend a ton of time or money making our Easter dinner table extra special, so I make the table runner!

You see that adorable pink polka dot table runner in the middle of my Easter table? I will let you in on a little secret, when dinner is over, I am just going to crumple that up and throw it away!

My Favorite Easter Decorating Tip

Why? Because it’s wrapping paper. Seriously.make a wrapping paper table runner

I just unroll some wrapping paper down the middle of my table and I have a festive, Easter table runner that I don’t have to worry about getting dirty, keeping up with until next Easter, or making sure it’s been ironed! It looks awesome, and nobody is worried about spilling their drink on it because it’s completely disposable!

And as for the dinner part? I always go HoneyBaked ham and turkey with their heat and serve sides. It’s quick, it’s simple and I don’t have to spend the day in the kitchen cooking. I get to spend it with my family. Because THAT is what holidays are for, FAMILY, not cooking.
