As of lately, Taco Bell has made more vegan options available on their menu.
And now, the famous Crunchwrap has also the vegan party!
“Such a large part of our fandom is vegan or vegetarian, and we’re as committed to them as they are to us and our menu,” statede Liz Matthews, Global Chief Food Innovation Officer at Taco Bell in a press release. “That’s why we took so long, months and years, to release something this special; we wanted and needed to get it exactly right, to get it mouth-watering. Because let’s admit it, we’ve all eaten plenty of products on today’s market that don’t taste great and certainly aren’t craveable.”Liz Matthews
As of right now, the status of Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap becoming vegan is only in the test market.
Here’s hoping that all goes well!
So in other words, the Crunchwrap could potentially make history, and we’re hoping it does!
Now here’s the best part.
The Vegan Crunchwrap currently consists of several drool-worthy features including a vegan seasoned beef, while biting into two vegan sauces including a cool blanco and a warm nacho sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and of course, the crunchy tostada shell.
To try the Crunchwrap that’s turned vegan, you’ll need to visit these three cities if you don’t already live in the selected states to try a bite.
New York City, Hollywood, and Orlando will have the vegan Crunchwrap as soon as tomorrow, June 8!
Prices of the Crunchwrap will range depending on the city, but you can expect the total amount to start from $4.99 up to $6.79.
It’s also best to keep in mind that if you do choose to order the new menu item, Taco Bell warns that “cross-contact” could occur among the foods.
