‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Is Re-Releasing In Theaters For The 30th Anniversary and I’m So Excited
I feel so old when I see stuff like this! It’s been 30 years since ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ first came out in theaters.
30 years y’all! This live-action blast from the past will be headed back to theaters for 3 days next month to celebrate the original release.
The 3-day event will be held in theaters nationwide thanks to Fathom Events. Fathom Events is a company that specializes in events like this.
The ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ debuted way back in 1990, just 2 years before I graduated high school. It earned $202 million at the box office and had sequels that came out in 1992 and 1995.
We are excited to celebrate 30 years of a film that brings families together in a fun, entertaining and hilarious way. As audiences discovered in 1990, the adventures of the heroic turtles are truly meant to be seen on a giant screen in a darkened theater, so we hope audiences of all ages will make Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael part of their entertainment plans.
said Tom Lucas, Fathom Events’ Vice President of Studio Relations
After that they switched over to a live-action/CGI hybrid, and also fully animated versions. ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ have fans that fall into all age groups and tons of little kids still dress as the Ninja Turtles for Halloween each year.
Where To Find A Local Event
