If you haven’t gotten your stimulus check yet, don’t worry, it’s coming.

The IRS just started sending out the 3rd wave of stimulus checks this weekend but you likely already have seen some receiving theirs.

With that being said, the official IRS tool to track your stimulus check is finally up and running. Here’s how to use it.

How to Track Your Stimulus Check

First, go onto the IRS Website Here.

Then Click the blue “Get My Payment” button.

You will be redirected to a screen that looks like this:

Input your personal information and click “Continue”.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to how they want your information inputted. Like the birthdate format and do not enter your city or state like it says.

Otherwise, it won’t work!

Once you do, you will see a page like this that will have all your information regarding your stimulus check.

The tool just went live today as in a few hours ago so if you checked earlier and it wasn’t working, try again.

The tool has now undergone “significant enhancements” and is delivering an “improved and smoother experience.”

We encourage people to check back in and visit Get My Payment — These enhancements will help many taxpayers. By using Get My Payment now, more people will be able to get payments quickly by being able to add direct deposit information.

So basically, go back to the stimulus site. Be prepared to enter your personal information: Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Mailing Address.

Keep in mind your check will likely go to the same account as it did before.

However, if you’ve changed banks since then, according to the IRS website:

If your bank information is invalid or the account has been closed, the bank will return your payment to the IRS and we will mail it to you by check at the address we have on file.

Never fear. They are working hard to get you your stimulus money. You may just need to give them a little time.
