This Machine Makes Flavored Soft-Serve Ice Cream By Using Pods Like A Keurig
LG just might be bringing us a Keurig-style ice cream maker for the home!
Have you ever been at home, and then that craving hits — SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM? That can’t just be me!
You then have to get in you car, and drive to Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, or some other place that has the delicious soft-serve ice cream that comes from a special machine.
Then, just because fate is hilarious, you get to the fast food joint to get your ice cream, and the machine is out.
Not anymore! According to Engadget, LG *might* be coming out with a soft serve machine for your house!
It is called the SnowWhite (I LOVE that!), and it comes with flavor PODS — much like a Keurig — that lets you choose which soft-serve flavor you are going to get.
There is word that it’s not just soft-serve ice cream that comes from these machines. You can make gelato, sorbet, frozen yogurt, and of course, ice cream!
LG products says the process will take about two to five minutes. That’s GREAT for specialty ice cream, where YOU control the flavor!
The bad part — why does there always have to be a bad part — is that this was a prototype shown at SXSW. LG products says this ice cream machine is just an example of what they want to do — the kind of machine they WANT to make for your home.
It isn’t mass marketed for actual sale.
*Cue the saddest face ever*
Why tease us so? I want to achieve my BEST LIFE, and have ice cream right in the kitchen with my coffee! Maybe someday.
