Move Over Tree Skirts, Tree Collars Are The New Holiday Trend and It’s Honestly So Chic

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with tree skirts.

I can never get them to look right, they always bunch up, or get pulled away from the tree, and sometimes I would give up and just throw a big white sheet under the tree.

I had never even heard of a tree collar until today and I now have to have one!

A tree collar is a much simpler way to cover up those ugly tree stands.

It’s a circular base that has a hinged portion that allows you to wrap it around the outside of your tree stand, hiding it perfectly behind something much more decorative.

Some of them are metal, some are woven to look like a basket, and some of them even look like tree bark.

They have a cleaner and more sleek look to them and no more bunching tree skirts!

Out of all of the ones I looked at today, my favorite is the Wooden Tree Collar Box because it’s so old-fashioned looking!

I also loved the woven Christmas tree collar that looks like a wicker basket, very rustic and homey feeling!

Next up are the galvanized tree collars, this one even has lights that light up the cut-out designs!

These are so freaking cool… I think I may need to have more Christmas trees so I can buy all of these Christmas Tree Collars!
