If you haven’t yet watched the series on Netflix about Wednesday Addams, Wednesday, stop what you are doing right now.

Netflix

I’ll wait while you watch it.

Wednesday Addams has straight up taken over the world — and for good reason!

The show is so stinkin’ good.

There are a plethora of Easter Eggs peppered throughout the Wednesday series that you might have missed, and they are all hella cool!!

Netflix

See which ones you caught, and check out the ones you missed.

The Wednesday series Easter Eggs

The Double Snap — You see this several times throughout the show by both Morticia and Wednesday. This, of course, points to the OG 1960’s Addams Family theme song, with its iconic double snap.

Netflix

Ignatious Itt — We see a portrait of Ignatious Itt inside the Nevermore Academy meeting room. You might remember this character from the TV series. Itt is a non-human entity made out of blonde hair and sunglasses. The character is Wednesday’s cousin, and appears in the OG Addams Family TV series.

Netflix

Wednesday’s Dorm is Named After Her Family Member — In the series, Wednesday, we hear that her dorm is named after William Shakespeare’s Hamlet character, Ophelia. What you might also remember is that Ophelia was the name of Morticia Addams’ sister in the 1960s series.

Netflix

Christina Ricci — This just might be the BIGGEST Easter Egg in the show. Christina Ricci, who plays the deadly plant botany professor at Nevermore, famously portrayed Wednesday Addams in the 1990s Addams Family movies.

Netflix

Archery — In 1993’s Addams Family Values movie, Wednesday and her brother Pugsley are known to shoot bows and arrows for fun. This little detail is given a nod when Wednesday decides to choose archery as her mandatory extracurricular activity at Nevermore.

Tim Burton’s Creatures — Inside the taxidermy shop, we see several odd creatures amongst the sea of dead and taxidermied beasts. This was a special treat from Wednesday production designer Mark Scruton. These tiny creatures are a direct replication of some of the characters in Tim Burton’s other movies.

Girl Scouts — In 1993, we saw Christina Ricci’s Wednesday ask a Girl Scout if she was, in fact, made of Girl Scout cookies. While, in Wednesday, we see Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday say that she could “eat a Girl Scout for breakfast.” Direct reference? I do believe so.

Netflix

The Poe Cup Boat Names All Reference Edgar Allen Poe — In this Nevermore Academy boat race tradition, in which there are no rules, all of the boats are named from Edgar Allen Poe stories. Of course, the name of the race is the Poe Cup, and Poe, himself, famously attended Nevermore Academy. But, I will still consider it an Easter Egg, because I can.

Netflix

Wednesday Showrunners’ Names Are Hidden in plain sight in Jericho — If you have been to any of the Disney parks, you know that there are special names painted on the windows of Main Street. They have done much the same in the fictitious town of Jericho in Wednesday. We see Miles Millar and Alfred Gough — the showrunners — last names are printed on a window at Wednesday’s therapist office.

Netflix

I’m sure there are more Easter Eggs scattered throughout Wednesday. Did you find any that aren’t listed?
